It was created by Vladimir Polony with the idea of providing the first modern open source repertory to the general public. Since its start in 2008, Repertorium Publicum has grown substantially, surpassing the other free repertories with both quality and quantity of content. A lot of care has been put into adding the most up-to-date information from recent as well as time-proven authors.
